Single, later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern, simplified WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the darker-blue-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Sanitäts-Truppen'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern - and typically simplified! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Sanitäts-Truppen' (or: simple soldier ie. medical orderly who served within the army medical-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length as more often seen - has the neat 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - is constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner', using different shades of wool and/or material (as can be seen in the pictures). The strap comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue. It should be noted that all 'M44'-pattern-, EM-type straps are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the desirable, darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour. Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'!, M44-pattern EM-type 'Sanitäter'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Sanitäts-Truppen'!
