Silver-toned, HJ/BDM (ie. 'Hitlerjugend' or: 'Bund Deutscher Mädel') day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate participation within the: 'Tag des deutschen Mädels - Köln - 14.15. Oktober 1933'
This is an attractive - and actually not that easily ie. fairly scarcely encountered! - early-period, HJ/BDM (ie. 'Hitlerjugend' or: 'Bund Deutscher Mädel') day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was executed in silverish-coloured- and/or (I deem) 'Buntmetall'-based material as was issued to commemorate participation in a specific female youth-gathering entitled: 'Tag des deutschen Mädels' held in the city of Köln on 14 and 15 October, 1933 and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished: most of its silver-coloured finish has been nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a horizontally-positioned 'wolfshook'-symbol and text as mentioned above (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge - which shows a clear makers'-designation (that reads: 'Paulmann & Crone - Lüdenscheid') on its back - is also showing a 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending marking and comes naturally mounted onto its (of course functional) pin-/catch set-up. Simply a very nice - and most certainly not that often encountered! - HJ/BDM-related 'tinnie'!
