This is an attractive - and in this unusually found combination scarcely found! - example of a WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period, so-called: 'Doppel- o. Ordenspange' (of the non-'detachable-pattern') and that is respectively showing a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 ohne Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 ohne Schw.') and a (neatly enamelled!) so-called: 'DRK-Ehrenzeichen des 3. Modell' (or: German Red Cross ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' honorary-award of the third model) and that comes as issued, moderately worn and/or recently found. The 'FKK 1914-18' shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back (that reads: 'K.M. & F.' as can be seen on the pictures). The detail on this award is also nicely preserved but it does show some tarnished age-patina and some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'DRK-Ehrenzeichen des 3. Modell' (or: German Red Cross ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' honorary-award of the third model) is - I deem - executed in silverish-coloured 'Buntmetall'-based metal and is a very detailed and/or pronounced example that retains a fully preserved (and totally undamaged!) mult-coloured, enamelled surface (as can be seen on the pictures). Both awards - which show their nicely preserved, period ribbons - come 'period-mounted' onto a metal 'clasp' that is nicely 'backed' with a field-grey-coloured linnen (and that shows a functional pin- ie. catch-set-up) as was intended for wearing this example on a 'going-out'- ie. dress-tunic or 'Waffenrock'. Simply an attractive WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period, 'Ordenspange' showing an unusual combination and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
