Superb - and actually rarely encountered! - piece of (I deem) SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') arm-insignia being a so-called: 'Ehrenwinkel für Altgediente Kämpfer o. Angehörigen der SA' (or: honorary-chevron for old campaigners)
This is an attractive - and actually very scarcely encountered! - piece of (I deem) SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') arm-insignia being an SA-related, so-called: 'Ehrenwinkel für Altgediente Kämpfer o. Angehörigen der SA' (or: honorary-chevron for old campaigners) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem) simply never used- nor once tunic- ie. shirt-attached-, condition. These chevrons - which were worn on the upper left arm - were (I deem) worn by SA-members who had joined the SA-organisation prior to 1 January 1933. The piece is constructed of a triangular-shaped piece of yellowish-brown-coloured linnen and shows a single chevron attached (made out of specific black-toned braid having two golden-coloured centre-stripes): it is, moreover, neatly backed with a piece of brownish-coloured and/or 'buckram'-based cloth as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example still retains its period-attached 'RzM'-etikat (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very nice and - truly scarcely encountered! - piece of SA cloth-insignia: only the second such neat - and most certainly unusally encountered! - SA-honorary-chevron I ever had on offer!
