This is a very attractive - fully matching but by me unidentified and with certainty rarely encountered! - pair of early-period, neatly hand-embroidered, high-ranked officers'-pattern collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Führer') as was (presumably) intended for usage by officers serving within the organisation: 'Stahlhelmbund' (ie. 'Der Stahlhelm' - Bund der Frontsoldaten (or: Sta)' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. Both tabs are executed in (smooth-type and/or velvet-based) black-coloured wool and show the silver/black-coloured (and/or twisted-type) piping attached: both tabs show a (very!) detailed, hand-embroidered 'Eichenlaub'-cypher (ie. device or: 'Ziffer') attached (which cyphers are both executed in multi-toned, silvered braid and that show some regular age-patina ie. tarnished surface as can be noticed on the pictures). The pair was simply never used nor tunic-attached and comes still 'tied-together' as found. Both tabs show the (typical) brownish-toned 'buckram'-based 'backing-material' in place. Simply a neat - and most certainly rarely encountered! - (presumed!!) 'Der Stahlhelmbund'-related officers'-pattern collar-tab-pair that would most certainly merit further investigative work!
