Neat - very unusual albeit regrettably single - 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) related, mid- (ie. later-) war period, NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'OT-Truppführer' (ie. 'Unteroffizier')
This is a neat - very unusual albeit regrettably single! - typical: 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) related, mid- (ie. later-) war period, NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'OT-Truppführer' (ie. being comparable with an: 'Unteroffizier' ie. junior-sergeant-rank) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately ie. clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The somewhat crudely contstructed and assembled shoulderstrap - that measures approximately 11,3 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or: beige-tan-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (something that might denote: 'Nachschub'- ie. transpor-usage as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its minimally damaged tongue - shows as stated above clear usage and/or wear (some age, staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The straps shows a single (vertically-mounted) stripe of silverish-grey-coloured (ie. somewhat sub-dued) NCO-braid period-attached. It should be noted that ALL 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'scarce'. This particular piece originated from an older cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. In any case an attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'OT-Truppführer'!
