Neat - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderboards as was (I deem) intended for a war-time official with special duties (ie. NCO) having the rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' (ie.: 'Beambter ie. Sonderführer a. Kd.')
The neat - clearly worn and/or fully matching! - LW-related, NCO-type shoulderboard-pair - which was (I deem) intended for usage by a medium-ranked, war-time official (ie. NCO) having the rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' (ie.: 'Beambter ie. Sonderführer a. Kd.' or: LW-official that was assigned for the duration on the war) and that comes in an overall nicely preserved- (albeit moderately worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The boards are constructed from darker-green- and/or silver-toned 'braid' and show two (horizontally-mounted-, also silver-toned- and firmly-attached) 'Laschen' period-attached, denoting the NCO’s rank- ie. function of a: 'Beambter ie. Sonderführer a. Kd.'. The boards measure approximately 11,5 cms. In length and never had tongues attached and were with certainty intended to be used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern and do both show some age and/or staining caused by fair wear and decades of storage. It should be noted that these Luftwaffe-related, NCO-type shoulderboards as were intended for medium-ranked officials ie. 'Beambter ie. Sonderführer a. Kd.' can easily be graded: 'fairly scarce'. I deem that I have priced this attractive pair accordingly!
