Superb - fully matching and actually scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Leutnant des Grenadier-Regiments 32'
The very attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) shoulderboards are typical, 'text-book'-examples of the Heeres'-type, officers'-pattern shoulderboards and have the silverish-grey- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-type-) 'upperdecks': they were presumably once tunic-attached and show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show the desirable bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the 'smooth-type'- ie. 'moleskin-type'-wool as to be expected). The boards come mounted onto their (typical thin-shaped) tongues attached and measure approximately 10,9 cms. in length each. The boards show two matching sets of (bright golden-toned, smaller-sized- and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: '3'- and/or '2'- numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures) denoting that the officer who wore this set held the rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant) who served within the: 'Grenadier-Regiment 32'. Taking into account the fact that this pair has the somewhat 'sub-dued'-type 'upperdecks' I deem that it was a pair that was intended to be used on a regular 'front-tunic'. It should, moreover, be mentioned that these 'Panzer-Grenadiere'-related shoulderboards are actually quite hard to come by and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant des Grenadier-Regiments 32' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
