Attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless rarely seen! - neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel und Mitglied einer Luftwaffen-Sportschule'
This is a truly attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless rarely seen! - neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstrap as as piped in the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel und Mitglied einer Luftwaffen-Sportschule' (or: sergeant and presumably instructor who served within one of the LW-related sport-schools) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem issued and clearly worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measures approximately 12,7 cms. in length - came without a tongue and was most certainly intended to be used as a strap of the 'sew-in'-pattern. It is - as stated above - piped in the neat neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and has the woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Next to the bright-silver-coloured- (ie. non-sub-dued ie. dotted-pattern) NCO-braid does the strap show a neat (aluminium-based- and/or: typically 'Gothic'-styled) so-called: 'SS'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and a (larger-sized and equally-styled) pip attached denoting the NCOs rank of: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). The strap was I deem clearly used- and or tunic-removed: it does show some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). This particular example originated from a small lot of 'cyphered' LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' LW-straps are very hard to encounter. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and rarely seen! - NCO-type, LW-shoulderstrap that was intended for a: 'Feldwebel und Mitglied einer Luftwaffen-Sportschule': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
