Attractive, 5-pieced WWI-period (ie. WH) 'Feld- o. Bandspange' showing resp. the ribbons for a: WWI-period 'EK II. Kl.', a: Baden 'Zähringer Löwe'-award, a: 'FKK 14-18 mit Schw.' and two WH (Heeres) 'Dienstauszeichnungen 4. u. 2. Stufe'
This is an attractive - and in this combination not that often seen! - example of a five-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII- ie. Third Reich-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') respectively showing the ribbons for a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross 2nd class), a: Baden 'Zähringer Löwe'-award (ie. 'Ritterkreuz') having a golden-toned sword-device attached, a: WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern') having a golden-toned sword-device attached and two WH (Heeres) 'Dienstauszeichnungen 4. u. 2. Stufe' (respectively awarded for 4 and/or 18 years of loyal-service) each having a silver-toned eagle-device attached and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit used and/or moderately worn-), condition. The - detailed! - devices have a neat and/or minimally 'frosted' albeit detailed appearance: they retain all four a very nice - albeit minimally tarnished - age-patina (as can be noticed on the pictures). The piece - with shows all its 5 bars in the 'standard'- ie. regular (1,5 cm. wide-) version is fully functional and comes mounted onto its functional pin- and/or catch set-up: the piece is, moreover, 'backed' with a pieced of black-coloured wool (that shows some moth-damage as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and somewhat larger-sized! - WWI- ie WWII-period: 'Feld- o. Bandspange' that belonged to a WWI- ie. WWII-veteran: ideal to upgrade or decorate almost any TR-related tunic!
