Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - Waffen-SS officers'-pattern shoulderboard as piped in the white-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer' who served with the 'SS-Infanterie-Truppen'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer' (or: captain) who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Infanterie-Truppen' (or: infantry-troops) and that comes in overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderboard - which never had a tongue attached and that was clearly used as a board of the 'sew-in'-pattern - has a somewhat 'sub-dued'- (ie. greyish-silverish-coloured) 'upperdeck' and is executed in black-coloured wool as to be expected. It shows the desirable 'silk-like'-type, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The board - which measures approximately 10,8 cms. in length - shows two golden-toned- (albeit minimally tarnished) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of an: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer'. The board has most certainly been worn and shows some moderate age, usage and/or moderate staining (moreover does it still shows some of the thread- ie. stitching-remains with which it was once tunic-attached. Simply an attractive Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboard that comes in a desirable branchcolour: I deem that I have priced this neat Waffen-SS-pattern, officers'-type 'Hauptsturmführer'-shoulderboard, accordingly!
