Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), pre- ie. early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier der Infanterie-Truppen'
The atttractive - and just moderately used and/or worn! - WH (Heeres), NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair is piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such as intended for - and most certainly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: junior-sergeant who served within an army-infantry'-related, unit) and that comes in an overall nicely preserved- albeit truly used- ie. worn-, condition. The pair is just moderately used- ie. worn as such and shows some obvious wear, age and/or staining. The 'text-book' - albeit (I deem) non-privately-purchased- ie. non-tailor-made -shoulderstraps measure approximately 9,8 cms. in length each and have the desirable, woolen-type piping attached as is more often encountered with these early- ie. pre-war-period shoulderstrap-pairs. The shoulderstraps have the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and come mounted onto their functional (but I deem period-replaced) tongues and have the neat 'standard'-type, silverish-grey-coloured- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued') and/or: 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). The pair originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found as such: it was never part of a collection. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and most certainly desirable! - shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier der Infanterie-Truppen'!
