Superb - and truly scarcely found! - 7-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange'), showing resp. the ribbons for (amongst others) an: 'EK II. Klasse', a: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schw.' and two 'WH-DA'

This is a truly very attractive 7-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange'), showing respectively the ribbons for an: 'Eisernes Kreuz der II. Klasse' (or: iron-cross second class), a: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienst-Orden 4. Klasse mit Schwertern' (with attached swords-device), a: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienst-Orden 3. Klasse mit Schwertern u. Krone' (with attached golden-toned swords- and crown device), a: 'Braunschweiger Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse mit Schwerter für Kämpfer mit Bewährungs-Abzeichen' (with attached swords-, crown- and horse-device), a: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwerter' (or: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern') and two (WWII-period-) so-called: 'WH-Dienstauszeichnungen der 2. u. 4. Klasse' (or WH loyal-service medals as awarded for four- ie. eigtheen years of loyal service both having a (silver-coloured-) eagle-device attached. The ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller), ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1 cms. each: moreover, are they nicely confectioned (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is 'backed' with a piece of red/white/black ribbon (as more often). The attached (and very detailed!) devices show some minimal age ie. tarnish but have all been very nicely preserved. This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply a very attractive and larger-sized 'Feld- o. Bandspange' having an unusual combination: great to decorate almost any WWI (ie. WWII-) tunic!
