Superb - and very early-pattern! - WH (Heeres ie. Reichwehr) so-called: trade- and/or special career-insignia (or hand-embroidered speciality arm-patch) as was intended for a: 'Funkmeister' (or: radio-operator ie. radio-equipment NCO)
This is an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - example of a very early-pattern, WH (Heeres ie. Reichswehr) special-career arm-insignia (or: 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage by an army: 'Funkmeister' (or: radio-operator ie. radio-equipment NCO) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never worn- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The neat patch is executed in golden-yellow-coloured linnen on a (typical) greenish-coloured and/or: linnen-based background and shows a bundle of three (detailed, machine-embroidered- and upright-positioned) 'Blitzes' (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is not maker-marked and shows some minimal staining (I deem simply caused by years of storage only). This example is also nicely 'backed' and shows a linnen-based, reinforced border as is more often encountered. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat, early- (ie. 'Reichswehr'-) pattern 'Funkmeister'-speciality-patch!
