Attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) hand-embroidered, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as executed on a darker-green-coloured background as was intended for a: 'Brieftaubenmeister'
This is a very attractive - I deem truly worn- and/or tunic-removed and actually rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) hand-embroidered, trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as executed in golden-yellow-coloured thread on a darker-green-coloured background, as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Brieftaubenmeister' (or: pigeon-handler NCO ie. sergeant) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The patch is as stated neatly hand-embroidered in golden-yellow-coloured linnen on a darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based background as to be expected. The patch - which has a somewhat damaged beige-coloured and/or linnen-based backing attached - is void of an ink-stamped makers'-designation as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive and truly rarely encountered WH trade- and/or special-career patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen'): one of the hardest to encounter examples of the extensive series!
