Superb - and rarely encountered! - darker-blue-cloloured so-called: 'Werkschutz o. Werksicherheitsdienst' EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Werkschutz' and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-, condition
This is a very attractive - and with certainty fairly rarely encountered! - darker-blue-cloloured and typical woolen-based 'Werkschutz o. Werksicherheitsdienst' EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Werkschutz' and that comes in an overall very nice and 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-, condition. The cuff-title is neatly machine-woven in silverish-grey-coloured linnen onto a typical darker-blue-coloured background and comes as stated above in a simply never used nor tunic-attached condition. The piece measures approximately 46 cms. in length (and is - I deem - thus totally non-shortened). Both ends are 'unfinished'. This example was stored as such for years by the veteran to whom it was issued. The piece was never cleaned and shows some mininal age and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage: it was never in a collection before and came as such from a private-household. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the cuff-title is identically produced as the various LW-cuff-titles something that in my opinion underlines the strong connection between the 'Werkschutz o. Werksicherheitsdienst'-organisation and the Deutsche Luftwaffe. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'Werkschutz o. Werksicherheitsdienst'-related cuff-title that will be impossible to be upgraded and that is truly very hard to find if needed!
