Attractive, WH (Heeres) 'tropical'-issue, so-called: trade- and/or special career-insignia (or machine-embroidered speciality arm-patch) as was intended for a: 'Feuerwerker' (or: artician ie. exposives orderly)
This is an attractive example of a 'tropical'-issue, WH (Heeres) special-career arm-insignia (or: 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage by an army: 'Feuerwerker' (or: artician ie. exposives orderly) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never worn- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The neat patch is executed in golden-yellow-coloured linnen on a (typical) mustard-brownish- (ie. tan-) coloured and/or: linnnen-based background and shows a (detailed, Gothic-styled- and/or neatly machine-embroidered) 'F'-character (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is not maker-marked and shows some minimal staining (I deem simply caused by years of storage and/or handling only). This example is also nicely 'backed' with a piece of linnen-based cloth and shows a reinforced rim as is more often encountered. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat 'tropical'-issue- ie. DAK- (or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-) related 'Feuerwerker' speciality-patch!
