Attractive - and scarcely encountered! - Norwegian NS-party- (ie. 'Nasjonal Samling'-) related, so-called: 'Bravery Cross 2nd class' (ie. 'Tapferkeitskreuz 2e Klasse') entitled: 'Tapper og Tro - 1941' that came mounted onto its period ribbon
This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of the Norwegian NS-party- (ie. 'Nasjonal Samling'-) related, so-called: 'Bravery Cross 2nd class' (ie. 'Tapferkeitskreuz 2e Klasse') that is entitled: 'Tapper og Tro - 1941' and that came mounted onto its period, bright-red/yellow-coloured ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and stored for decades. The neat cross shows the motto: 'Tapper og Tro' on its front which is the Norwegian wording (done in Rune-script!) for: 'Bravery and Loyalty' and is executed in neatly patinated, reddish-brown-coloured 'Buntmetall' and shows an immaculate (somewhat shiny) surface without showing any damage or alike: it just shows some regular tarnished surface which is I deem just caused by usage and/or moderate wear. The cross was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the photos). I deem that I have priced this attractive and most certainly decorative 'foreign' NS-award accordingly!
