Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of Waffen-SS, junior-officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for usage by an: 'Untersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant) who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Pionier-Truppen'

This is an attractive - and fully matching and actually scarcely encountered! - typical Waffen-SS, junior-officers'-pattern shoulderboards as piped in the neat black- (ie. 'schwarzer') coloured branchcolour and having dito black-coloured 'underlays' as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Untersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant) who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Pionier-Truppen' (or: engineer-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice (I deem just minimally used- and/or worn- ie. presumably carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The boards - which never had any tongues and that were worn as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type as more often encountered - have the black- (ie. 'schwarzer') coloured and/or: 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measure 10,5 cms. in length as more often encountered. The pieces show some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - Waffen-SS officers'-pattern shoulderboard-pair that comes in not the easiest encountered branchcolour and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
