Attractive - and truly unusally found! - luxuriously-styled so-called: DLV (ie. 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband') visor-cap-device (ie. 'Abzeichen für die Schirmmütze') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'K. Wurster'- and 'DLV'-) marked example
This is a very attractive - and actually unusally found! - neatly enamelled and luxuriously-styled, so-called: DLV (ie. 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband') (I deem) visor-cap device (ie. 'Abzeichen für die Schirmmütze') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'K. Wurster'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem minimally used- ie. most certainly once cap-attached-), condition. The piece - which is executed in bright-silver-toned metal (ie. 'Buntmetall') - has an approximate 'wingspan' of approximately 5,2 cms. and comes mounted onto both its (period-attached) prongs (which were I deem used but that are still fully functional). It retains a fully undamaged enamelled surfaced and shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'K. Wurster - M.Neukirchen': next to this does it also show a: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending- and/or: 'DLV'-marking (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive (and early- ie. pre-war-period!) visor-cap-device that belonged to an official who served within the predecessor of the German Luftwaffe being the: 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband'!
