This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern, 'simplified' WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Flieger o. Fallschirm-Truppen' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the pilots'- or: paratroopers'- branch) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem clearly used nor worn- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each as more often seen - show the silver-toned ('dotted'-pattern) NCO-braid and have the neat, golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstraps are constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner' using different shades of wool and/or material (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues (which are a bit moth-damaged). It should be noted that all 'M44'-pattern, Luftwaffe NCO-type straps are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the desirable, golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour. Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book', M44-pattern NCO-type 'Flieger o. Fallschirm-Truppen'-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Flieger o. Fallschirm-Truppen'!
