Superb - and not that easily found! - 'Schlesisches Bewährungsabzeichen der I. Stufe ohne Schwerter' (being an unmarked- and I deem 'Extra Qualität'-example, as was produced by an unidentified maker)
This is a very attractive - and actually not that easily found! - pre-TR-period- ie. 'Freikorps'-related, so-called: 'Schlesisches Bewährungsabzeichen der I. Stufe ohne Schwerter' (or: Silesian Eagle 1st class without swords) being an unmarked- and I deem 'Extra Qualität'-example as executed in neatly enamelled and silvered 'Buntmetall' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or with certainty worn-), condition. The award - which is quite vaulted ie. converse-shaped as to be expected - has never been cleaned and retains a very nice, somewhat blackened- (ie. tarnished) age-patina and/or great pronounced detail. This example - which was produced by a by me unidentified maker ie. 'Hersteller' - comes mounted onto its fully functional (and unaltered) pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures) and is totally void of any enamel-damage or alike. The piece - that shows a firmly riveted 'half-moon'- and 'für Schlesien'-device attached - is just a bit dirty and tarnished simply caused by years of storage and/or moderate wear but retains a great unmessed-with and/or totally uncleaned, age-patina. Simply a very attractive, 'Freikorps'-related 'Schlesisches Bewährungsabzeichen der I. Stufe ohne Schwerter' that was never before part of a collection: I deem that I have priced this attractive 'Extra Qualität'-award accordingly!
