Superb, SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') honorary-cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Hans von Manteuffel' (as was intended for SA-members serving within the: 'SA-Standarte Posen / SA-Gruppe Wartheland')
This is a truly very attractive - and naturally 100% original and with certainty rarely seen! - SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') honorary-cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'Hans von Manteuffel' as was specifically intended for SA-members serving within the: 'SA-Standarte Posen / SA-Gruppe Wartheland' being a 'virtually mint' example that still retains (both!) its period-attached 'RzM'-etikets and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit never worn- nor tunic- ie. shirt-attached, condition. Similar to the N.S.K.K. (ie. 'National Socialistischer Kraftfahr Korps') the SA (or: 'Sturmabteilungen') did make usage of these so-called: 'Ärmelstreifen für Ehrenführer' which were special insignia to commemorate killed comrades during the early years of the movement. The full-length cuff-title (that measures approx. 49 cms. as more often) has the typical reverse and shows all details of an original, period specimen of the machine-embroidered pattern: it shows the name: 'Hans von Manteuffel' machine-embroidered in silverish-grey-coloured linnen on a black-coloured- (and also linnen-based) background. This cuff-title on offer here is a 100% text-book - and as stated above - original example as executed in the 'Gothic'-style script that originates from a US-veteran who 'liberated' this piece in 1945. The piece shows some truly minimal staining and age but was (I deem) never tunic-attached: it does, however, show some minimal age and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great opportunity to acquire a truly attractive, SA-cuff-title for a justified and I deem competitive price!
