This is an attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless still scarcely encountered! - later-war-period- (ie. 'M44 o. M45'-pattern-) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: junior-sergeant and officers'-candidate who served within an infanterie unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem clearly issued and just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length - come naturally mounted onto its original (and truly simplified!) tongue (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap was just moderately worn and comes as found and/or stored for decades. The shoulderstrap - which shows the neat and desirable, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached - shows the silverish-grey-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued') NCO-braid attached denoting that the NCO who wore this strap held the rank of: 'Unteroffizier': next to this does the strap show a loop (ie. 'Shube) attached which is executed in similar-styled NCO-braid denoting that the NCO who wore this strap was also an officer-candidate (ie. 'Offiziers-Anwärter'). Simply a neat and truly later-war-period so-called: 'M44-pattern'-shoulderstrap as was intended for - and moderately worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Regiments' that is accordingly priced!
