Superb - and/or fully matching! - pair of later-war-period- (ie. 'M44'-pattern) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Regiments'
This is a truly very attractive - and as such actually very scarcely encountered! - fully matching pair of later-war-period- (ie. 'M44'-pattern) WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: junior-sergeant and officers'-candidate who served within an infanterie unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem clearly issued and just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which each measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length - come naturally mounted onto their original (and simplified!) tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was just moderately worn and comes as found and/or stored for decades. The shoulderstraps - which show the neat and desirable, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached - show the bluish-grey-coloured (ie. typically 'sub-dued') NCO-braid (but not pips!) attached denoting that the NCO who wore these straps held the rank of: 'Unterfeldwebel': next to this does the pair show two (firmly albeit loosely attached!) loops (ie. 'Shuben) which are executed in similar-styled NCO-braid denoting that the NCO who wore this pair was also an officers'-candidate (ie. 'Offiziers-Anwärter'). Simply a very attractive pair of truly later-war-period so-called: 'M44-pattern'-shoulderstraps as was intended for - and moderately worn by! - an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Regiments': with certainnty one of the most attractive 'M44'-pattern, 'Infanterie'-related shoulderstrap-pairs I ever had on offer!
