Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Luftwaffe) 'dual-piped', officers'-type collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Reserve eines Flak-Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'dual-piped', officers'-type collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere der Luftwaffe') as was intended for usage by a: 'Oberleutnant der Reserve eines Flak-Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within an anti-aircraft-unit ie. regiment) and that comes in a moderately used- (ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The - neatly hand-embroidered! - tab is piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour and does moreover show a secondary, bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour attached: as such, it was specifically intended for usage by a junior-officer who served with a 'Flak-Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments'. The neat piece is neatly 'backed' with a piece of beige-coloured buckram-based material and was carefully tunic-removed (as can be noticed from the pictures). It should, in any case, be noted that these attractive, dual-piped officers'-type insignia-pieces as intended for an: 'Oberleutnant der Reserve eines Flak-Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' can easily be graded: 'fairly scarce' and are truly not that often offered for sale: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
