Attractive - and not that easily encountered! - 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '93'-) marked example as was produced by the: 'Richard Simm & Söhne'-company

This is a very attractive - and fully untouched and still nicely preserved! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a clearly marker- (ie. '93'-) marked example as was produced by the company: 'Richard Simm & Söhne' as was based in the town of Gablonz a/d N. (ie. 'Hersteller 93') and that comes in an overall nice- (and surely issued-), condition. The piece has never been cleaned and shows a nice (blackened- and somewhat 'satin-like'-) patina and shows a fully undamaged, black-coloured inner-core-section (I deem that it was issued and mounted but hardly worn: it shows some regular age, wear and/or staining). The attractive piece came together with its folded and confectioned (ie. approximately 29 cms. long-sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. The piece retains some of its polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten') as can be noticed on the pictures. As stated above, has the cross great and very fine detail: it is just minimally 'tarnished' over the years and has never been cleaned (it is just a tiny bit stained ie. dusty). Simply a very attractive, maker-marked 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' that was produced by the by the: 'Richard Simm & Söhne'-company and that is accordingly priced!
