This is a WH (Heeres) rank-insignia (ie. silver-grey-coloured and machine-embroidered 'roundel') as intended to identify a soldier with the rank of: 'Oberschütze', 'Oberjäger' etc. that comes in a clearly used- and/or tunic-removed, condition. The patch is neatly machine-embroidered on a field-grey-coloured (and/or woolen-based) background and shows no defaults whatsoever: it was clearly issued and/or worn. The patch shows a silver-grey-coloured pip on a field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background. The patch - which is not 'backed' as produced - just shows some minimal staining caused by fair wear and/or years of storage. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a genuine WH rank-badge for a competitive price!
