Neat - regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44- o. M45'-pattern-) EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen'
The attractive - and with certainty not that easily found! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap does show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measures approximately 10,5 cms. in length and is clearly of the simplified. so-called: 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44 o. M45'-) pattern. The shoulderstrap is constructed from the (typical) field-grey-toned, later-war-type wool and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue (as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap just shows some minimal age ie. wear and was clearly used and/or worn as such: moreover, was it once glued into an album or scrapbook once and does show some obvious glue-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these white-piped- (thus 'Infanterie'-related) and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44- o. M45'-pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps are very desirable and can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they come in such a nicely preserved condition as the strap on offer here!
