'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class infantry-assault-badge ie. IAB) being a non-maker-marked, so-called: 'solid-back'-example as was (I deem) produced by the: 'S.H.u.Co'- (ie. 'Söhni u. Heubach'-) company
This is an attractive - albeit most certainly issued- and/or moderately worn - example of an: 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class infantry-assault-badge ie. IAB) being a (unusually) non-maker-marked, so-called: 'solid-back'- and/or greyish-silvered, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen as was - I deem - produced by the: 'S.H.u.Co'- (ie. 'Söhni u. Heubach'-) company and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem surely issued and/or just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. This example is a non-maker-marked award and shows the various characteristics as only seen on IABs as produced by the: 'S.H.u.Co'- (ie. 'Söhni u. Heubach'-) company. The - very pronounced! - war-badge seems to be totally uncleaned and has a still a very attractive and somewhat tarnished age-patina: truly most of its period-applied finish has been nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The pin and/or catch (ie. set-up-) are of course fully functional and present. The piece - which originates from a private-household where it was recently found - was never cleaned and has been nicely preserved. Simply an honest 'Feinzink'-based, silver-class IAB as was produced the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'S.H.u.Co'- (ie. 'Söhni u. Heubach') and that is accordingly priced!
