Neat, silverish-grey-coloured, so-called: 'Einzelspange' showing a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' (being a 'regular-weight'-specimen as was executed in silverish-grey-toned, zinc-based metal ie. 'Feinzink')

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily found! - example of a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' (or: air-raid-warden service-medal second-class) being a 'regular-weight'-specimen as was executed in typical, zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes period-mounted as a so-called: 'Einzelspange' (or: single-pieced medal-bar) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem only minimally used ie. worn-), condition. The medal came mounted onto its neatly pre-confectioned- and/or: pre-folded ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). The medal was most certainly issued and or minimally worn (it shows some dust and dirt simply caused by years of storage and or minimal wear) but retains great pronounced detail without showing any real defaults. The medal comes 'mounted' onto a metal- (ie. chromed-steel) based clasp (which is neatly backed with field-grey-coloured wool and that comes mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch-set-up as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive example of a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' that is mounted as a so-called: 'Einzelspange'!
