Superb - and/or fully complete! - WWI-period, 'standard-issue'-pattern and golden-toned, naval officers'-dress-model, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für den Paradefeldbinde für Offiziere der Reichsmarine')
This is a very attractive - and/or fully complete! - WWI-period, 'standard-issue'-pattern and golden-toned (ie. 'feuervergoldetes') naval officers'-dress-model, (I deem) molded zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für den Paradefeldbinde für Offiziere der Reichsmarine') and that comes as issued and/or minimally worn. The - truly detailed! - dress-buckle that came with its period 'Gegenhaken' is void of any makers'-marking (something that is more often encountered with these dress (or: 'Ausgeh'-) pieces: it is, however, still very detailed and retains truly extraordinary detail: it is just a bit dusty and dirty caused by decades of storage but truly shows no damage whatsoever). Simply a very attractive piece that was never before in a collection: the set was recently found at a German flea-market and was never before in collectors'-hands. In any case a great item to complete any WWI-period, 'Reichsmarine'-officer in 'dress- ie. going-out-attire!
