Attractive - luxeriously-styled- and truly worn! - WWI-period 'Eisernes Kreuz I. Kl.' (or: iron cross first-class) being a non-maker-marked example as executed in (tarnished) silver-based material and that comes stored in its period etui

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily found! - example of a fairly luxeriously-styled, WWI-period 'Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse' (or: iron cross first-class) being a (typical) non-maker-marked example as executed in (somewhat tarnished) silver- (ie. iron) based material and that comes stored in its period- (and actually scarcely seen!) etui (having a detailed IC-illustration on its top) as issued and/or stored for decades. The cross - which is void of a makers'-designation - was with certainty never cleaned and has a nice and/or very attractive age-patina: it has a darkened- (ie. somewhat 'blackened') finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross has a nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. 'shiny-style'-) core that shows some minimal paint-loss but that has, nevertheless been truly nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is just a tiny bit dusty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished. The cross came stored into its period- (and actually scarcely seen!) etui (that shows an unusally seen and detailed illustration of an IC on its top as can be seen on the pictures). This etui is equally nicely preserved and is void of any real damage or alike. The set was recently found at a German private household and was never before in collectors'-hands. It should be noted that these complete and fairly luxeriously-styled, WWI-period 'Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse'-sets are quite scarcely encountered and are not that often appearing on todays' market. Simply a very attractive example that is priced according to its fully untouched condition and comparative scarcity!
