Stunning, 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I. Klasse' (or: bar to the WWI IC first class) being a typical, non-maker-marked example as was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilh. Deumer' based in the town of Lüdenscheid
This is a very attractive - and I deem issued- and just moderately worn and nowadays actually scarcely encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I. Klasse' (or bar to the WWI IC first class) being a typical non-maker-marked (ie. 'Buntmetall-versilbertes') example as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes in an overall very nice- (fully untouched and just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The detailed piece retains some of its so-called 'high-polished sides (or: 'hochpolierte Kanten') and is very pronounced and truly 'frosted' as to be expected: it naturally retains its functional (and totally unaltered) pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' is as stated above only minimally stained ie. dirty: it retains a very nice age-patina and was I deem never cleaned nor polished. These attractive - by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company produced 'Wiederholungsspangen zum EK I. Klasse' are nowadays quite scarcely encountered and are not that often appearing on todays'-market. Simply a very attractive example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
