Neat - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. post-'Reichswehr'-) period officers'-type collar-tabs (ie.: 'Einheitskragenspiegel für Offiziere') as was (I deem) intended for usage by an officer serving within the: 'Inf.-Truppen'
The attractive - and fully matching! - neatly hand-embroidered collar-tabs (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel für Offiziere') are piped in the typical, greyish-silver- (ie. 'silber'-) coloured branchcolour and having a typical greyish-silver-toned 'centre-stripe' and were as such intended for usage by all officers serving within I deem) the 'Infanterie'-related branches of the German army. The tabs come in a clearly used- ie. issued and carefully tunic-removed condition: they still show some thread- and/or stitching-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). Both tabs - which come mounted on their darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'backings' - are just a bit stained caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear (see pictures). The pair is void of any 'backing' as is more often seen and are a great pair to complete any (early-period) officers'-tunic or to be simply stored in any insignia-collection: it should be noted that such (truly used- and/or worn) pairs are nowadays hard to encounter and are not that often offered for sale. Simply an attractive - and truly very early-period! - officers'-pattern collar-tab-pair that is I deem accordingly priced!
