Attractive - scarcely found! - 'Ostvölker'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the unit-designation that reads: 'Armen. Leg - 6592' (and as such intended for a member that served within the 'Armenisches Legion'
This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - typical zinc-based, so-called: 'Ostvölker'- (ie. Eastern-volunteers-) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the stamped unit-designation that reads: 'Armen. Leg - 6592' (and as such intended for a member that served within the 'Armenisches Legion') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The ID-disc - which is executed in a neatly executed letter-type - comes in an overall nice condition but does show the clear evidence of having been worn (minimally torn-out holes): it was, however, never cleaned nor polished but shows some (minimal) corrosion-marks. The disc - which is void of the soldiers' blood-group-type as more often - comes as stored for years: it originates from an extensive ID-disc-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. The back shows some dirt ie. staining (and minimal corrosion stains). Simply an attractive - and 100% genuine! - 'Ostvölker'- ie. Eastern-volunteers-related ID-disc that belonged to a soldier and member of the 'Armenisches Legion'!
