Neat - very unusual and fully matching! - pair of 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) related, mid- (ie. later-) war period, NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'OT-Obertruppführer' (ie. 'Feldwebel')
This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - pair of typical: 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) related, mid- (ie. later-) war period, NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'OT-Obertruppführer' (ie. being comparable with a: 'Feldwebel' ie. sergeant-rank) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately ie. clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which are approximately 12,5 cms. sized in length each - have the 'standard-type'- and/or: beige-tan-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (something that might denote: 'Nachrichten'- ie. signals usage as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues attached - show as stated above clear usage and/or wear (some age, staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The straps show two (vertically-mounted) stripes of silverish-grey-coloured (ie. clearly sub-dued) NCO-braid and one (bronze-toned) pip each period-attached. It should be noted that ALL 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'scarce'. This particular pair - which is as stated above matching and that was most certainly worn as such as a pair - originated from an older cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. In any case an attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Organisation Todt' (ie. 'OT'-) related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'OT-Obertruppführer'!
