Attractive, WH-related: 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung o. Steckkreuz für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 1. Kl. in Gold mit Schwertern' being a (typical) non-maker-marked example that comes stored in its accompanying - albeit repaired - period-etui

This is an attractive - and I deem just moderately used and actually fairly scarcely encountered! - WH-related, so-called: 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung o. Steckkreuz für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 1. Klasse in Gold mit Schwertern' (or: golden-class 'Ostvölker' bravery-medal ie. breast-star for bravery on the Eastern Front being of the first-class-pattern with swords) being a (typical) non-maker-marked- and/or: (light) golden-toned 'Feinzink'-based example that comes stored in its period- (albeit repaired) etui as issued and/or recently found. The neat award comes in an overall very nice- (I deem only minimally used ie. worn-) condition and retains most of its (as more often somewhat faded) golden-toned finish and still retains great pronounced detail (it is just a tiny bit tarnished- ie. dirty as to be expected but was never cleaned nor polished: it comes naturally mounted onto its functional (and unaltered) somewhat larger-sized pin- and/or pin-catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is void of a makers-designation (as more often) but was (I deem) a typical example as was produced by the company: 'R. Wächtler & Lange' as was based in the town of Mittwaida in Sachsen. The etui comes in an equally nicely preserved condition: it is still fully functional but was once repaired: the back has I deem been glued-on (as can be seen on the pictures). The faily luxuriously-styled etui (that shows the typical 'square-sized corners' as more often) has a fully preserved, black-coloured (ie. simulated velvet-based) interior-section that shows a clear imprint of the badge it once held (as can be seen on the pictures). The etuis'-top shows a (fully preserved and golden-toned) illustration of the badge (as can be seen on the pictures). The etui was I deem just moderately used and does show some obvious age, wear and/or staining. Simply an attractive - and desirable! - WH-related, so-called: 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung o. Steckkreuz für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 1. Klasse in Gold mit Schwertern' in etui that is priced according to its repaired etui!
