Superb, WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' being a neat (and virtually mint!) example that came together with its full-length ribbon and accompanying 'Feld-/Bandspange' as issued and/or recently found
This medal (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is an attractive and/or truly very detailed- (most certainly issued- but I deem simply never mounted nor worn-) example having great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here has a very nicely preserved (and fully present!) golden-bronze-toned finish that is void of any tarnish nor stains: it has simply never been cleaned nor polished and truly retains all of its period golden-toned- (ie. 'Brennlacquered-') finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came together with its non-confectioned- (ie. pre-folded- and full length ie. 20 cms.-sized) piece of ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). Of addtional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example came with its accompanying single-pieced 'Feld-/Bandspange' (ie. ribbon-bar) as issued and/or recently found. Simply a very attractive and complete Czech 'Anschluss'-medal-set that is accordingly priced: one of the best such sets I ever had on offer!
