The neat - and most certainly detailed! - WH (Luftwaffe) arm-badge retains both its original (copper-toned) prongs and also retains its period, metal- (ie. zinc-) based 'back-plate' in place as is more often encountered: it was never cleaned and truly retains most of its somewhat tarnished, greyish-silver-toned (ie. sprayed) surface (as can be seen on the pictures). As stated above, was this nicely pronounced (and non-magnetic- ie. I deem zinc-based) arm-badge presumably issued but simply hardly or even never worn: it was period-mounted onto a (bluish-grey-coloured) piece of wool. Simply an attractive example of a WH (Luftwaffe) so-called: 'Kraftfahrbewährungs-Abzeichen in Silber'!
