Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - N.S.D.A.P.-type collar-patch (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für pol. Leiter') as executed in black-coloured wool as was specifically intended for a retired: 'N.S.D.A.P.-Hauptstellenleiter' at 'Orts'-level
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - N.S.D.A.P.-type collar-patch (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für pol. Leiter') being of the second pattern as was used from 1934 upto 1939 as executed in black-coloured wool as was specifically intended for a retired: 'N.S.D.A.P.-Hauptstellenleiter' at 'Orts'-level and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The neat piece - which is constructed from the black-coloured- and/or typical 'smooth-type'- (ie. moleskin-type-) wool - comes in a wonderful condition overall: it shows a neat, dual silver-coloured- and 'L-shaped' piece of swastika-braid attached and was (I deem) simply never mounted on a tunic. The tab is piped with light-blue coloured- and rayon-based piping (as always) signifying that the piece was intended for a party-official serving at: 'Orts'-level. The tab is void of an RzM-etiket and was most certainly never worn and originates from a fairly large cloth-insignia lot that originated from an older collection in the USA. The set shows some (truly non-disturbing) tarnish and/or aging caused by having been stored as such for decades (as can be noticed on the pictures). In any case is this a neat and fairly unusually encountered N.S.D.A.P.-collar-tab for retired party-members and that is not that often offered for sale. Only the first such neat N.S.D.A.P.-related collar-tab in this particular rank I ever had on offer!
