Unusual, 'Deutscher Turnerbund'-related 'tinnie' being a maker- (ie. 'Calles - Aachen'-) marked example depicting a stylished eagle-device, TD-logo and text: 'Rheinisches Landesturnfest - Bad Aachen - 1934'
The neat - and with certainty not that often seen! - TR-period, 'Deutscher Turnerbund'-related 'tinnie' is executed in golden-bronze-toned metal (ie. tin- or so-called: pot-metal) and is clearly maker- (ie. 'Calles - Aachen'-) marked example that depicts a stylished eagle-device, TD-logo and text that simply reads: 'Rheinisches Landesturnfest - Bad Aachen - 1934'. The attractive shield-shaped badge - that shows some normal wear and/or moderate age - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The regular-sized- and shield-shaped piece (having an approximate height of 4,5 cms.) shows a clear makers'-designation that reads: 'Calles - Aachen'. Simply a neat occasion to acquire a neat 'Deutscher Turnerbund'-related 'tinnie' (ie. day-badge or 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') for a justified price!
