Single - and clearly worn - bright-red-piped so-called: 'Allgemeine-HJ'-shoulderstrap as intended for a: 'HJ-Junge' who served within the 'Bann 249' (249 = 'Bann Christian Crössmann (Odenwald)' situated in the 'Gebiet West Hessen-Nassau')
This is an attractive - regrettably single and just moderately worn - example of a bright-red-piped, so-called: 'Allgemeine'-HJ (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'HJ-Junge' who served within the (unusually seen!) 'Bann 249' (249 = 'Bann Christian Crössmann (Odenwald)' as was situated in the 'Gebiet West Hessen-Nassau') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or carefully tunic- ie. shirt-removed-), condition. The strap is void of an 'RzM'-etiket (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which is executed in black-coloured linnen, having red-embroidered '249'-numerals and bright-red-coloured- (and rayon-based) piping attached - comes without tongue as found (and still shows two period-attached, metal-based 'snaps' for easy tunic-attachment). The strap measures 11 cms. in length each as is usually encountered and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage and moderate wear. Simply an attractive - and actually not that commonly encountered! - so-called: 'Allgemeine-HJ'-shoulderstrap that belonged to a 'HJ-Bann' based in the 'Gebiet West Hessen-Nassau'!
