Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40- o. M43'-pattern) shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs'

This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless not that easily found! - WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40- o. M43'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstrap having the neat bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs' (or: sergeant first-class who served within an army-signals unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length each - has the 'standard-type'- and/or field-grey-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdeck'. The strap - which has the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured- and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached - shows the ('standard-issue'-pattern, bluish-grey-coloured ie. typically 'sub-dued') NCO-braid and two (larger-sized, zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore this strap held the rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel' (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue and that originated from my own private shoulder-strap-collection - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear only (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). Simply an attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Heeres Nachrichten-Abteilungs': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
