This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war period- (ie. 'M40 o. M43'-pattern) and/or neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied einer Kavallerie-Schule' (or: sergeant and presumably instructor who served within one of the army cavalry-schools) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately ie. clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which are approximately 12 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or: field-grey-coloured- and woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have (as to be expected) the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues attached - show as stated above clear usage and/or wear (some age, staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The straps show the (standard-pattern) bluish-grey-coloured (ie. clearly sub-dued) NCO-braid attached and show a matching pair of silver-toned- (Gothic-styled, smaller-sized- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'S'-'cyphers' (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of (also smaller-sized- and equally-styled) pips, period-attached. It should be noted that ALL NCO-pattern, 'Kavallerie'-type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'scarce' (even more so when they are neatly 'cyphered' as this pair on offer). This particular pair - which is as stated above matching and that was most certainly worn as such as a pair - originated from an older cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. In any case a very attractive and/or: early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres-Kavallerie'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied einer Kavallerie-Schule'!
