WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' being a neat (albeit minimally tarnished) example that came as issued and/or recently found
This medal (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is an attractive and/or detailed- (albeit issued- and/or moderately worn-) example having great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here has a nicely preserved, golden-bronze-toned finish showing some minimal tarnish: it has, however, never been cleaned nor polished and truly retains all of its period golden-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came mounted onto its neatly confectioned- (ie. pre-folded-) piece of ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') that still retains its period (golden-toned) 'clip' attached as was intended for easy tunic-attachment. Simply an attractive and complete Czech 'Anschluss'-medal that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
