This is an attractive - and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn! - example of a typical 'Reichswehr'-period, silverish-golden-coloured- and (I deem) typical copper- ie. nicke-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften') that comes mounted onto its (brown-coloured, maker-marked and/or: '1929'-dated) leather-based tab and that comes in a clearly used- (albeit overall still nicely preserved-), condition. The buckle truly retains most of its silverish-golden-coloured finish without showing any real defaults: it does show some obvious wear- and age-marks but was simply never cleaned nor polished and does show some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle shows also some obvious dust and/or staining caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The leather-based tab is naturally also still fully functional but clearly used: it shows an oval-shaped makers'-designation-stamp that shows the maker (being: 'G.H. Osang' based in the town of Dresden) it also shows a year-designation: '1929' coupled with a tiny (square-sized) stamp that reads: 'K29' as can be noticed on the pictures). The tab remains in an equally nicely preserved condition (it was - I deem - never greased nor oiled but does show some obvious age and/or staining). The buckle itself is also unmarked (something that is more often observed). The piece was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. Simply an attractive - and quite scarcely found! - 'Reichswehr'-period-example that is priced according to its overall nice ie. clearly used- and/or worn condition!
