Stunning - and fully matching! - pair of mid- (ie. later-) war-period, WH (Heeres) bright-pink-piped 'Panzer'-collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') each having an aluminium-based and 'two-pronged' skull-device (ie. 'Totenkopf') period-attached
The truly very attractive WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-collar-tab- (ie. 'Kragenspiegel'-) pair is as stated above fully matching and both pieces show the brownish-yellow-coloured- (and/or: typical 'buckram'-based-) backings (which is additionally covered with paper!) and show both a detailed, aluminium-based- (early and identical!) skull-device period-attached: both skulls - which are from the 'two-pronged'- pattern - are still firmly attached onto the tabs (and retain both all their prongs as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - which has the neat (I deem mid- ie. later-war-period-) typical, 'silk'-like-type- and/or bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured piping attached - comes in a clearly issued- and/or once-tunic-attached, condition: the pair shows some obvious wear, age and/or staining as to be expected. As such, it would, however, be an excellent pair to restore any black-coloured-, mid- (ie. later-) war-period Panzer 'wrap-around'-tunic. This particular Pz-collar-tab-pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, original and fully matching, mid- ie. later-war-period 'Panzer'-collar-tab-set that can easily be graded 'fairly rare' and that is nowadays almost impossible to encounter!
