Attractive - and truly used! - WH (Heeres) 'flatwire'-woven, officers'-type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Offiziere') as was executed in bright-silverish-coloured braid as was intended for usage on the various officers'-pattern tunics
This is an attractive - and truly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'flatwire'-woven-, officers'-type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Offiziere des Heeres') as was executed in bright-silverish-coloured braid onto a field-grey-coloured background as was intended for usage on the various officers'-pattern tunics and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. carefully folded- and/or confectioned-), condition. The eagle is executed in bright-silver-grey- (ie. 'flatwire'-type) thread onto a (typical) field-grey-coloured background and comes in an overall very nice and fully untouched condition: it still shows some of the stitching-holes with which it was once tunic-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these attractive 'flatwire-woven'-type 'Heeres' breast-eagles can as such easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive and truly used- and worn example of German officers'-type-insignia for a competitive price!
