Superb - and nowadays rarely seen! - 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' being a non-maker-marked- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen of the so-called: 'pillow-crimped'-pattern (as was produced by a to date still unidentified maker)
This is a very attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' (or: army anti-aircraft war-badge) being a non-maker-marked- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen of the so-called: 'pillow-crimped'-pattern as was produced by a to date unidentified maker and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The badge on offer here concerns a later-war-period, typical zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based specimen that retains most (ie. all!) of its (fairly shiny!) silver-coloured finish (and protective 'Lack'!) and has maintained an attractive appearance, still showing pronounced detail as to be expected. The badge is truly converse-shaped and has never been cleaned nor polished (and is still also a tiny bit dirty ie. stained- ie. tarnished as mentioned above). As stated above, does it deal with a so-called: 'pillow-crimped'-pattern that naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker. Simply a very attractive and honest 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' of the so-called: 'pillow-crimped'-pattern that comes in an overall very nice condition: it will be very hard to upgrade this specimen!
